Administrative/Accounting Assistant

The Administrative/Accounting Assistant plays a critical role in maintaining accurate records and providing essential administrative support to ensure smooth business operations. This position is also responsible for purchasing and managing day-to-day accounting tasks, including entering invoices, credit card receipts. Additionally, the role involves support for payroll and HR functions and assisting with document management and record keeping. Minimum Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or higher in business field preferred. • One to two years' experience in support role and/or bookkeeping • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and Outlook) Prior HR and Payroll experience Responsibilities: • Record and categorize daily accounting transactions such as invoices, payments, and receipts accurately in accounting software. • Purchasing • Assist with payroll processing and ensure timely submission of related documentation. • Prepare and maintain employee files in accordance with policies and guidelines • Assist with HR hiring and onboarding process • Other administrative tasks as needed.
