Construction Office Manager

A construction office manager is the operational and administrative backbone of a contracting business. They free up field supervisors and project managers by handling back-office logistics, including accounts payable/receivable, scheduling, contract administration, and project documentation. A construction office manager handles a wide variety of tasks to keep a project or business running smoothly: Financial Administration: Processing purchase orders, invoicing, managing payroll support, and tracking project budgets. Document Management: Keeping track of contracts, submittals, requests for information (RFIs), and safety compliance records. Permitting & Compliance: Working with local municipalities (like building and zoning departments in the Palmetto/Bradenton area) to secure permits and schedule inspections. Vendor & Subcontractor Coordination: Communicating with suppliers to order materials, verifying vendor pre-qualification, and processing lien releases. Technology & Data: Coordinating data collection between the field and the office.
