Visit our for benefit details. Job Summary: Provides services for all internal and external auditorium clients for all the performances and events. Assures proper operation of lighting, sound, recording, and stage machinery. Maintains auditorium facility and equipment to assure performer and audience safety. Performance of these duties requires extremely flexible schedule to support auditorium schedule. Job Description Applicants may be asked to demonstrate any or all of the following duties: 1. Provides a safe and professional performance environment to all members of the SCF community, including students, faculty, staff, patrons and our outside vendors, while supporting the goals of the school and maintaining and preserving the physical integrity of the performance venues. 2. Coordinates technical aspects of auditorium usage, for both academic events and outside rentals. 3. Provides lighting, sound, stage setup, and house preparation for all events and rehearsals. Including but not limited to event specific lighting, follow spot operation, front of house mixing, onstage monitor mixes, and scene shifts. 4. Oversees and helps assign work to student assistants for auditorium events. 5. Maintains auditorium equipment and a detailed supply inventory. 6. Coordinates all events in Neel Auditorium at the time of event. Opens, closes, and secures building after events. 7. Assists in gathering quotes and prioritizing the needs of the space. 8. Maintains, repairs, organizes, and services all equipment in Neel, including stage rigging, draperies, cables, lighting instruments & accessories, the rep plot, sound equipment, microphones, sound system, the physical stage, and house. 9. Ability to learn and maintain knowledge of and operating ability of theatrical consoles (ETC ION and Yamaha CL5), dimmers, and networks. 10. Available to trouble-shoot/problem solve technical issues as they arise during technical rehearsals and performances. 11. Attends to audience members ADA concerns. 12. Acts as liaison between renters/performers and college. 13. Provides back up assistance to front of house staff and box office. 14. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications • Education/Experience: Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and two or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
