We are looking for a competent Office Assistant to help with the organization and running of the daily administrative operations of a branch of Raymond James.  The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently with accuracy and discretion while learning financial and investment matters.
Job Type: Full-time. Office on Lakewood Ranch Blvd about ½ mile south of SR 64.
Responsibilities

  • Assist associates with daily support tasks while performing receptionist duties
  • Sort and distribute communications in a timely manner
  • Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information
  • Monitor level of supplies and handle shortages
  • Resolve office problems and respond to suppliers, customers and colleagues.
Skills
  • Experience as an office assistant, or in another relevant administrative role
  • Working knowledge of office equipment
  • Organizational, time management skills, and an aptitude for problem-solving
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office; Word, Outlook, Excel, and Publisher
