Job Summary: The Student Life Advisor oversees and coordinates extracurricular and co-curricular events and activities, campus recreation, and student development initiatives. This position serves as the co-advisor for the Student Government Association (SGA) Executive Board and collaborates with the Coordinator, Student Life to direct all clubs and organizations across all campuses. Helps guide and engage students in thoughtful educational planning and goal-setting. Assists students in making informed decisions regarding their academic, professional, and personal goals through collaborative and supportive partnerships with faculty and staff from across the College as well as other institutional and community resources.

Job Description: Applicants may be asked to demonstrate any or all of the following duties:
1. Supervises all campus clubs and organizations and assists with the development and administration of related budgets.
2. Assists with the development and implementation of all policies and procedures related to Student Life.
3. Supervises and advises the Student Government Association Executive Board. Develops and manages organization budget. Accompanies the SGA students on any off-campus trips.
4. Provides leadership, coordination, and advocacy in the development, promotion, implementation, and evaluation of programs and interventions that assist students in the pursuit of their academic, professional, and personal goals.
5. Advises students and provides referrals for students with personal, social, or academic concerns that may interfere with satisfactory academic progress.
6. Ensures adherence by student organizations to departmental, campus, and College regulations, policies, and procedures. Provides training and guidance for student groups regarding event and activity planning and fiscal management.
7. Oversees Esports Club Campus Game Room and supports development of Esports gaming protocols
8. Coordinates and monitors all on-campus solicitation and public posting activities.
9. Serves on various campus and college-wide committees and advisory boards as assigned.
10. Supports all new student orientation activities as well as ongoing student activities. 11. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications • Education/Experience: A Baccalaureate degree required.
• Supervisory

Experience: One or more years of experience as a lead employee, with responsibility for scheduling and assigning work, facilitating teams, training employees, and assisting others with problems, is required.

Preferred Qualifications Education/Experience: A Master’s degree and/or 3-5 years experience preferred.
