Job Summary: This position is responsible for optimizing the data integrity of the donor database and reporting data for fundraising initiatives. This position will primarily enter donor gifts and support the information needs of the Foundation.

Job Description
Applicants may be asked to demonstrate any or all of the following duties:
1. Ensure donor monetary and in-kind gift entries are accurately and timely entered into the database (Raiser's Edge) and immediately reports any reconciliation discrepancies with bank deposits and the general ledger (Financial Edge) to Supervisor.
2. Follow protocols and procedures to protect the integrity of donor data in the database, not only donation amounts and dates, but including the biographic/demographic records of the donor. Maintain accurate fundraising information according to CASE/NACUBO standards.
3. Coordinate new functionality of the donor and financial databases as vendor releases updates, troubleshoot security alerts and make recommendations for system/process improvements.
4. Produce a variety of reports as needed relating to donations, including achievement by event, appeal, campaign, trending analysis, etc.
5. Works collaboratively with other SCF Departments as it relates to entering, tracking, and reporting departmental donations, as well as donor web pages for departments and the Foundation. Assists with maintaining Foundations website, as well as social media sites (Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
6. Collaborate with Foundation team regarding various platforms for soliciting, collecting and recording donations such as PayPal, text-to-give, etc.
7. Assist with annual donor statements at the close of each calendar year.
8. Attends and assists at all Foundation events. This includes maintaining all event reservations prior to each event, recording event attendance, and working at the event.
9. Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor and the Executive Director, Foundation.

Minimum Qualifications Education and Experience:
• Associate’s degree or higher or equivalent experience
• Database software experience
• Expert experience with Excel
Minimum of two years’ previous experience with database responsibilities including experience with queries and data reporting is required. Working knowledge of web page software.

Certificates and Licenses:
• Ability to be bonded through the Foundation’s insurance policy.

Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience in a college/university and/or non-profit setting
• Raiser’s Edge NXT and Raiser’s Edge 7 experience
