Visit our https://scf.edu/Administration/HumanResources/Benefits/default.asp for benefit details Job Summary The Creative Content Coordinator drives integrated content in marketing campaigns - print, digital, social, video - aligned to department goals and institutional brand standards, from brief through launch and performance analysis. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job. • Develops and maintains a cross-channel content calendar tied to enrollment cycles and major events. • Crafts creative briefs, storyboards and messaging frameworks. • Writes, proofs and edits copy for print and digital ads, emails, web pages, social posts, video scripts, client-submitted collateral, etc. • Supports content development aligned with short- and long-term department goals. • Partners with team members, graphic designers, videographer, clients and external vendors to produce assets. • Monitors trends and emerging content formats and proposes fresh ideas to boost engagement. • Applies SEO best practices, A/B testing and performance data (engagement, click-throughs, conversions) to refine content. • Serves as the content brand guardian; ensures all marketing content adheres to the State College of Florida style, accessibility, copyright and data privacy standards. • Presents new content tools/processes that ensure brand and voice consistency to staff and partners with academic units, student services and outside agencies. • Attends and represents the department in client meetings, when appropriate. • Assists at special events, i.e., graduation, honors convocation, open house. • Performs other related tasks to meet department and job-specific requirements. Job Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college and four (4) or more years of related experience and or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum three years' experience that included writing responsibilities. • Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required. • Language Ability: Ability to write clear, concise and accurate basic news releases, with correct grammar, punctuation and spelling. Ability to write marketing content/copy. Ability to proofread and knowledge of rules of grammar and AP style. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. • Math Ability: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. • Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Ability to compile and organize documents. Ability to multi-task and function as part of a team. Ability to maintain a calm demeanor in a deadline-driven office. • Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have advanced knowledge of word processing software; intermediate knowledge of spreadsheet, Internet, email, and database software. Proficiency in use of current College e-mail and database software essential. • Certificates and Licenses None required.
