Job Summary: Manages the ASN and BSN Nursing Programs admission process; provides training and supervision to the Nursing Admissions Specialist with the identification, selection, advising, and orientation of prospective Nursing Program students. Represents Nursing Programs to the community. Supervises the maintenance the Nursing program web pages, promotional and marketing collateral.

Job Description
Applicants may be asked to demonstrate any or all of the following duties:
1. Supervises the screening of ASN and BSN nursing program student applications and ensures that all qualified students are ranked appropriately.
2. Assist Dean of Nursing and Program Managers with selection of students at each admission period.
3. Represents the College on committees and projects as required.
4. Manages/supervises data collection, analysis and monthly/annual recruitment reports as needed by the Dean of Nursing to ensure accuracy. 5. Manages/supervises the set-up, maintenance, updating, and correcting web related functions and enhancements for Nursing Programs in collaboration with the Dean of Nursing.
6. Manages/supervises the scheduling of student orientation, marketing, and recruitment events.
7. Co-Chairs the ASN Admissions Committees and the BSN Admissions Committee.
8. Provides training on the identification, selection, advising, and orientation of prospective Nursing Program students.
9. Provides training on how to prepare and provide periodic statistical reports to the Dean of Nursing detailing advising activities.
10. Provides training on the prescriptive academic advisement and general information process to advise prospective and currently enrolled students accurately.
11. Provides training to review and interpret unofficial transcripts, and enter registration permits as appropriate.

13. Provides training to assess student inquiries and refer accordingly to the appropriate Student Services and Enrollment Management staff. 14. Develops (and updates as needed) a resource guide to assist Student Services and Enrollment Management staff with the nursing advisement process for the Nursing Programs.
15. Represents the Nursing Programs as part of the SCF education offerings at College and community events.
16. Performs other duties as requested.

Minimum Qualifications
Education/Experience: A Bachelors’s degree is required from a regionally accredited institution in student development, educational leadership, or a related field; and 2- 3 years’ advising/recruiting experience in a community college or a university setting; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of Banner, Admissions, Registration, Student Accounts, Financial Aid, Degree Works/Degree Audits, and Student Success Planning.

Preferred Qualifications
Supervisory Experience: Two or more years of experience as a “lead” employee, with responsibility for scheduling and assigning work, facilitating teams, training employees, and assisting others with problems, is required.
