Preschool Educator

Forty Carrots Preschool is seeking a caring and dedicated Early Childhood Educator. Our NAEYC accredited program has low student-to-teacher ratio and a commitment to individualized curiosity, care, and respect. Using developmentally appropriate practices and play-based activities, our Preschool Educators promote learning and growth in the areas of social, emotional, physical, language & literacy, science & technology, mathematics, social studies, and the arts. Our Preschool Educators employ innovative, creative approaches to learning that stimulate higher level analytical thinking and cognitive abilities, while also ensuring a safe and nurturing environment where children can explore their curiosity and talents and expand their awareness and abilities. This full-time, benefits eligible, teaching position requires a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field, or sufficient ECE coursework and credits to meet NAEYC accreditation requirements. Level 2 Background Screening is a condition of employment per Chapter 435.12 Florida Statues (For information see https://info.flclearinghouse.com). Florida DCF Child Care Personnel Training must be completed within 90 days of hire. Knowledge of Creative Curriculum is helpful but not required. Pay ranges from $22.00 to $25.00 per hour based on education and experience.
