Preschool Floater

Forty Carrots Preschool is seeking a caring and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to serve as Preschool Floater. Our NAEYC accredited program has low student-to-teacher ratio and a commitment to individualized curiosity, care, and respect. Using developmentally appropriate practices and play-based activities, our Preschool Floaters support the Classroom Educators and work together to promote learning and growth in the areas of social, emotional, physical, language & literacy, science & technology, mathematics, social studies, and the arts. Our Preschool Educators and Floaters employ innovative, creative approaches to learning that stimulate higher level analytical thinking and cognitive abilities, while also ensuring a safe and nurturing environment where children can explore their curiosity and talents and expand their awareness and abilities. This full-time (35 to 38 hrs/wk), benefits eligible, teaching position requires a minimum of an associate degree or equivalent in Early Childhood Education or related ?eld; bachelor's degree is preferred. Summer VPK Credential is also preferred. Florida DCF Child Care Personnel Training must be completed within 90 days of hire. Knowledge of Creative Curriculum is helpful but not required.
