Job Summary
To provide assistance and support to the State College of Florida Foundation and Institutional Development Department with the scholarship program, overall events, reporting, scholarship process and financial management.
Job Description
Applicants may be asked to demonstrate any or all of the following duties:
- Enters pass-through scholarship, endowed scholarship and non-endowed scholarship awards into AwardSpring software, print thank you letters and other documentation and sends to appropriate individuals, businesses, non-profit organizations, service club, or private/family/community foundation to comply with IRS guidelines, and helps manage the overall awarding process.
- Assists with the preparation of various financial and scholarship reports and analyses as necessary. Assists in the preparation of financial statements to include detailed account reports. Assists in event mailings, tracking of the invitations, RSVP's, name tags, place cards and event attendance.
- Provides clerical support such as receptionist duties, event ticket sales, mailings, copying and scanning, and customer service and communication to students, administrators, staff, board members, account signatories, benefactors, vendors and auditors.
- Assists with budget and audit preparation. Verifies scholarship budget allocation to actual scholarship awards and reconciles the scholarship invoice from the college.
- Staffs all special events held by the SCF Foundation.
- Anticipates business effects on other SCF Foundation areas and uses problem solving skills to recommend resolutions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education/Experience: Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and two (2) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certificates and Licenses: Ability to be bonded through the Institutional Development insurance policy.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge and demonstrated experience working with financial aid and scholarships preferred.
