Job Summary: This position is responsible for handling daily operations for the Early College department to administer all aspects of the Early College Programming in pursuit of 1007.271FS and corresponding statutes that Early College is governed. The position will assist the Program Director for Early College Programs to facilitate the enrollment and retention at SCF for this population. This position provides ongoing assistance and information in support of the College’s student recruitment, retention, and completion goals. Job Description Applicants may be asked to demonstrate any or all of the following duties:1. Provide support to the Program Director for Early College programs and department to include but not limited to dual enrollment, accelerated dual enrollment and Early Admissions with primary service areas to include Manatee County School District, Sarasota County School District, Charlotte County School District to include Lemon Bay High School and Charlotte Virtual in that service area along with articulated private schools in the geographical area, and homeschool program students registered with Sarasota and/or Manatee County Schools.2. Build positive working relationships in collaboration with internal stakeholders in the divisions of Student Services and Enrollment Management, Institutional Effectiveness and Business/Finance along with the SCF Collegiate School to ensure state policy changes are properly executed, adjustments occur and no student is arbitrarily prohibited from participation in Early College programs at SCF.3. Manage daily operations for the Department for Early College and work directly with local public schools, private middle/high schools and homeschooled families to ensure excellence in service through responsive communication regarding deadlines, policies/procedures to support students seeking the opportunities through 1007.271 FS.4. Serve as a liaison between the college, schools and the community to increase enrollment of middle and high school students seeking coursework acceleration towards high school diploma requirements and beyond.5. Support the efforts by the Department for Early College in the development of annual articulation agreements with, Manatee, Sarasota and Charlotte County School Districts, and private school as defined by state of Florida in the geographical service area, home school students registered with Manatee or Sarasota County Schools.6. Provide support to the Program Director for Early College Programs by offering meaningful college experiences such as identifying effective instructional modalities and academic programming for Early College students.7. Serve as support to the Program Director and team towards the recruitment/outreach activities, parent nights in the high schools, presentations to high school counselors meetings, participate in open house events, admission workshops, counselor breakfast events and campus tours as necessary.8. Support all Early College programs towards the include enrollment and registration for students seeking accelerated mechanisms towards high school graduation in the geographical service area for SCF.9. Devise innovative and effective strategies to bridge the gaps between middle and high school, and high school and college students.10. Provide guidance and support to the SCF Store and district instructional materials office to ensure timeliness for required books for Early College students.11. Oversees the content and maintenance for the client relationship management system (CRM) to effectively communicate with prospective and continuing students, the Early College electronic contract, Canvas, AI technology, the Early College webpage and with data integrity in Banner.12. Schedule training to appropriate Student Services & Enrollment Management staff at SCF each semester on how to guide and support Early College students through the steps towards enrollment, advisement and registration at SCF by the respected deadlines.13. Participates in applicable Early College professional membership organizations and state meetings/webinar as appropriate.14. Supervise staff as appropriate.15. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications • Education/Experience: Associate’s degree with two or more years of relevant experience and/or training.
