In this position, you will apply your commercial and residential interior design experience as the client's greatest advocate through the Amish and American-made furniture purchasing process, creating an exceptional customer experience by assisting clients in designing spaces they absolutely love. Primary Responsibilities Contribute to the DutchCrafters expansion by assisting in planning and executing the design of the new physical spaces by specializing in the development of retail, office, and warehouse spaces, and combining a wide range of creative and technical skills with building a branded retail environment. Take the design concept full circle by assisting in the design development phase and helping to plan out the details to ensure a seamless store design, including finalizing the space plan and furniture selection. Demonstrate expert knowledge of how customers interact with spaces in a retail environment and translate a brand into a shopping experience that helps DutchCrafters sell furniture and best serve customers. Assist in the design and development of new showroom spaces to develop the primary and conceptual solutions and build a preliminary project schedule and budget to ensure all parties are on the same page. Assist in developing a cohesive representation of the DutchCrafters story in each showroom to add value to the furniture and the customer experience with a strong emphasis on cost controls and revenue generation. Contribute to DutchCrafters' blog posts and social media presence by providing interior design tips and information using our furniture to keep our customers abreast of design trends and increase media mentions. Represent the company at local interior design, chamber, realtor, and builder association events to generate local buzz and increase awareness of the DutchCrafters brand. Contribute as a design resource by coaching and training staff on design solutions to ensure strong specialized competencies. Serve as a design advisor for our DutchCrafters private label furniture to help grow our exclusive collection of products. Performance Expectations Results will be measured by the significant value-added contributions as a resource for training and space planning and providing additional value for customers. Qualifications A Bachelor of Arts in interior design and work experience as an interior designer Draw, read, and edit blueprints considering space, line, form, light, color, texture, and pattern to optimize project cost and maintain scope. Passion and proven knowledge of interior design, retail sales, and space planning Experience with Microsoft 365 and room planning software Detail oriented, a multi-tasker, and creative About?JMX Brands:?
