As Member Events Manager, you will play a critical role in curating engaging events that not only meet but exceed our members' expectations. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning: Conceptualize, plan, and execute a diverse range of monthly and annual member events, from small to large-scale celebrations. Manage event budgets and resources effectively, maximizing value for our members and our organization.
  • ​Member Engagement: Foster strong relationships with our members, understanding their preferences and needs to tailor events that resonate with them.
  • Logistics Management: Oversee all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, catering, entertainment, attendance, etc…
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow staff members to ensure seamless coordination and execution of events, aligning with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Innovation: Bring fresh, creative ideas to events that enhance the member experience.
  • Proven experience in event management and execution, with a focus on customer-facing events.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for delivering outstanding member experiences.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including some early mornings and evenings.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary credential
  • Minimum three years of event planning/management experience
  • Experience in fundraising/revenue-generation
  • Experience in managing budgets and tracking expenses.
  • Direct customer service experience
  • Experience managing staff and/or volunteers.
