Job Summary

The Circuit Civil division has jurisdiction over general law cases such as foreclosures, real property disputes, condominium disputes, eminent domain, auto negligence, personal negligence, professional malpractice, products liability and contracts and indebtedness, all with a claim value over $15,000. The Probate and Guardianship division processes the petition for probate which allows for distribution of a decendent's assets in which was left in their name alone or to appoint a successor trustee.  Guardianship is necessary to protect the personal and property rights of both, an incapacitated person or minor. The Supervisor I/Circuit Civil & Probate position is a full-time, supervisory position that reports to the Deputy Director of Courts.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in specific field of endeavor or 4 years of related experience
  • Demonstrates supervisory and leadership knowledge or competency
  • Professional certification preferred
  • Must be a Deputy Clerk
  • Computer literacy which includes, but is not limited to, proficiency in Microsoft Windows suite

Essential Functions
