Marketing & Proposal Assistant
A leading commercial construction manager, is seeking a Marketing & Proposal Assistant to support the Business Development Manager with key marketing and proposal development tasks. This is a full-time, in-office position based in Sarasota, Florida. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of marketing experience, preferably in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (A/E/C) industry, and is comfortable assisting with proposal coordination, content development, and event planning. Responsibilities • Proposal Support: Assist in the following: coordinating, writing, formatting, assembling proposals (RFQs/RFPs), and ensuring all required information is included and well-organized. • Proposal Content Coordination: Maintain and update a proposal content library, including resumes, project descriptions, past performance data, and firm qualifications. • Marketing Coordination: Support the planning and execution of marketing strategies, business development initiatives, and corporate branding efforts. • Event & Community Engagement: Help organize, coordinate, and attend client events, trade shows, and career fairs. • Marketing Materials: Assist in the production, inventory, and organization of marketing materials, promotional items, and collateral. • Outbound Content Creation: Coordinate and create outbound content, including social media posts, updates sent to website team, work with PR firm on press releases, and inhouse promotional materials. • Brand Consistency: Ensure marketing and proposal materials align with company branding and messaging standards. • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support for marketing and proposal needs as assigned by the Business Development Manager. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field preferred • 2+ years of experience in marketing, preferably within the A/E/C industry. • Experience with proposals (RFQs/RFPs) and writing/editing skills preferred. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work under pressure. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
