Advanced Practice Provider
EveryOne Urgent Care is a brand-new, physician-owned urgent care clinic opening in the Parrish area. We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our founding clinical team and help build a high-quality, patient-centered urgent care from the ground up. This role is ideal for an APP who values work-life balance, physician leadership, and predictable scheduling, and who is interested in being part of a growing practice—not a corporate system.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed medical histories across various age groups such as pediatrics, geriatrics, and neonatal populations.
- Manage acute and chronic conditions by developing and implementing personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Administer medications and injections with precision.
- Interpret EKGs and X-Rays.
- Perform specialized procedures such as suturing, catheterization, casting/splinting, foreign body removals, and intra-articular injections while maintaining sterile technique.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems for accurate documentation of patient encounters, medication administration, diagnostic evaluations, and medical records management.
- Engage in telehealth consultations to extend care access remotely while adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining high standards of patient confidentiality.
Skills
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems for efficient documentation and patient data management.
- Proficiency in performing advanced procedures including venipuncture, phlebotomy, sterile processing techniques, and laboratory specimen collection/processing.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology for medication administration.
- Skilled in managing complex cases involving geriatrics, pediatric populations, or patients with developmental disabilities.
- Experience with CPT coding and ICD coding for billing purposes.
- Excellent patient assessment skills combined with physiology knowledge to evaluate symptoms accurately and determine appropriate interventions.
- Experience working within hospital medicine or emergency medicine environments; familiarity with triage protocols at Level I/II trauma centers or urgent care settings.
- Knowledge of Workers' Compensation law along with experience in outpatient clinics or primary care practices; adept at discharge planning and utilization review processes.
