Visit our for benefit details Job Summary This position is responsible for the planning, coordination, and facilitation of all aspects for SCF's Office of Early College. The Program Director works within the division of Academic Affairs and works closely with internal stakeholders to include the division of Student Services and Enrollment Management, the SCF Collegiate School, Institutional Effectiveness, Business/Finance and external stakeholders to include local public and private middle/high schools, as well as homeschooled families to fully implement Early College programming. This includes the implementation of the admission, registration and Early College eligibility policies and procedures, and collaboration on the content development of specific articulation agreements. Additionally, the position requires the development, oversight, and maintenance of all Early College electronic and printed communications and website content. Applicants may be asked to demonstrate any or all of the following duties: • Coordinates and facilitates the comprehensive college-wide Early College programs to include but not limited to dual enrollment, accelerated dual enrollment and Early Admissions with primary service areas to include Manatee County School District, Sarasota County School District, Charlotte County School District to include Lemon Bay High School and Charlotte Virtual in that service area along with articulated private schools in the geographical area and homeschool program students registered with Sarasota and/or Manatee County Schools. • Maintains positive working relationships in collaboration with internal stakeholders in the divisions of Student Services and Enrollment Management, Institutional Effectiveness and Business/Finance along with the SCF Collegiate School to ensure state policy changes are properly executed, adjustments occur and no student is arbitrarily prohibited from participation in Early College programs at SCF. • Works directly with local public schools, private middle/high schools and homeschooled families to ensure excellence in service through responsive communication regarding deadlines, policies/procedures to support students seeking the opportunities through 1007.271 FS. • Serve as lead collaborator for the development of annual articulation agreements with , Manatee, Sarasota and Charlotte County School Districts, and private school as defined by state of Florida in the geographical service area, home school students registered with Manatee or Sarasota County Schools. The lead will work with district and college officials to include legal counsel, assistant deans, associate provost and provost for agreements and ensure timely delivering to respective boards along with meeting state submission deadlines. • Work in collaboration with district partners to offer meaningful experiences for students such as identifying effective instructional modalities for Early College program offerings, the use of Alternative Methods, Career Dual Enrollment opportunities to enhance workforce within the region. • Identify and execute Early College enrollment targets and effectively work with the SCF Marketing team to help realize those goals. • Participates in recruitment/outreach activities, parent nights in the high schools, presentations to high school counselors' meetings, district meetings, participate in open house events, admission workshops, counselor breakfast events and campus tours as necessary. • Provides guidance to Institutional Research and other division for the necessary Early College program data for state submission. • Oversight and facilitation for Early College programs to include enrollment and registration for students seeking accelerated mechanisms towards high school graduation in the geographical service area for SCF. • Provides oversight and direction in the development and maintenance of all electronic workflows that are used by the Office for Early College in conjunction with Information Technology and the division of Student Service & Enrollment Management. • Oversight for daily operations for the Office of Early College with the development and maintenance of policies and procedures, calendars, staffing and future initiatives. Provide necessary statistical reports and enrollment trends to administration as requested. • Oversees the Early College departmental budget, ensures appropriate expenditures, maintains budget/financial documentation for the department. Recommends appropriate acquisition and ensures maintenance of resources and equipment. • Acts as the liaison to the SCF Store and district instructional materials office to ensure timeliness for required books for Early College students in meeting state mandates. Serve as liaison support to the division of Business and Finance towards invoicing the state for reimbursement through the dual enrollment scholarship fund. • Coordinates and trains appropriate Student Services & Enrollment Management staff at SCF each semester on how to guide and support Early College students through the steps towards enrollment, advisement and registration at SCF by the respected deadlines. • Oversees the content and maintenance for the client relationship management system (CRM) to effectively communicate with prospective and continuing students, the Early College electronic contract, Canvas, the Early College webpage and with data integrity in Banner. • Participates in applicable Early College professional membership organizations and state meetings/webinar as appropriate. • Supervise staff as appropriate. • Performs other duties as assigned.
