Grounds & Facilities Manager
Your Role
Your role would be to develop and maintain the park’s grounds and facilities. You will work closely with the Executive Director and volunteers to create new garden spaces and educational experiences.
Key Duties
- Grounds – plant trees/shrubs, prune, fertilize, mulch, etc. (no mowing or edging)
- Facilities – light maintenance i.e. irrigation repair, painting, set up for fundraisers, etc.
- Volunteers - coordinate & oversee our many amazing garden volunteers
- Hours - part-time, 30 hrs./week, weekdays, flexible schedule, report to Executive Director
Skills Required
- experience with gardening & light maintenance
- ability to lift/carry 50 pounds & work in varying kinds of weather
- outdoor person with a passion for plants & wildlife
