Job description
The Nutrition Coordinator is responsible for providing assistance in the lunchroom with the delivery, serving and accounting for the proper compliance of the breakfast and lunch program provided to students and supervising students during lunch with guided conversation and a healthy, clean, safe and sanitary dining area.

Maintain accurate records and compliance for National School Lunch Program (Free and Reduced Lunch process) for JFGE students and families.

Maintain daily breakfast/lunch student counts and communication with Manatee County School District Health and Nutrition Staff.

Participate in any required breakfast//lunch training opportunities provided by Manatee County School District.

Cross train volunteers and other staff to carry out duties of the breakfast and lunch programs.
Provide leadership and guided conversation with students during breakfast and lunch periods.

Maintain healthy, safe and sanitary dining room environment as required.

Comply with policies and procedures of the organization relating to professional conduct and appropriate child development opportunities with children.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED.
Possession of a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
Demonstrated good judgment, approachable and professional, solid problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks, self-motivated and well organized.
Committed to working collaboratively with all constituent groups, including staff, volunteers, donors, program participants, and other supporters.
Agreement with and commitment to the Just for Girls mission, goals and philosophy.
Ability to lift 25-50 pounds.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $13.50 - $15.00 per hour
