Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida is hiring a full-time Community Manager – Manatee County to increase awareness and participation in Girl Scouting for girls and adult volunteers through a variety of in person meetings, presentations, and networking opportunities with schools, educators, faith-based groups, community organizations, corporations, and other community constituents. The Manager works collaboratively to provide support to volunteer service unit teams and troops to enhance the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. Qualified candidate is a self-directed and collaborative team player that will contribute to a positive leadership culture, along with relevant education-experience combination in sales, marketing, public speaking and presentations, exceptional customer service, and volunteer management. Proficient computer operation skills required. The assigned area is Manatee County and also includes Highlands and Hardee counties. The Manager works an out-based full-time flexible schedule, to include some evenings and weekends; and travels (30-percent) during day and night hours to perform position-related responsibilities in a wide variety of venues and environments.
