What we are looking for – Restaurant City is looking for a sales associate to help work with customers in our showroom. • 5+ year’s experience in the restaurant or foodservice industry is REQUIRED. • Previous sales/retail experience is a MAJOR plus. • Foodservice equipment and supply knowledge is REQUIRED. • Bi-lingual speaking English and Spanish is a plus. Our sales associates work together with the rest of our team to help customers find the right supplies and equipment for their needs and see them through the sales process. Ideal candidate should be personable, enthusiastic, and able to work independently or to support other team members as needed. Responsibilities • Cultivate a store following for local independent operators and foodservice business owners who want a great selection, competitive pricing, always-in-stock inventory, and “first class” customer service. • Utilize existing networks and local industry partners to generate new leads. • Assist customers in finding the right equipment and supplies for their business. • Look up product availability and pricing in our computer system. • Field incoming sales calls • Prepare quotes for customers on both individual pieces of equipment and packages (experience with AutoQuotes is a plus) • Enter sales orders & arrange for delivery if needed • Process payments and follow all administrative and accounting procedures • Perform/Oversee periodic inventory counts • Assist warehouse staff with pulling merchandise for a customer, shipping & receiving, inventory stocking, or other tasks when needed • Maintain showroom organization by procedures set forth by management • Works with office staff to check and maintain open orders, return merchandise statuses and purchase orders Qualifications • High School diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred • Minimum of 5 years restaurant related experience • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) • Excellent customer service skills • Self-starter • Strong communication skills for the purpose of explaining product information to customers • Strong organizational skills • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, markups, and percentages Compensation Based on experience Location and Hours • Sarasota, Florida • Hours are Monday - Friday 8AM- 5PM, Saturdays (alternating) 9AM-1PM

Position Type: Full-time

Salary Range: $61,000 - $100,000/year
