Aquarium Service Technician

We are looking for someone who has a passion for Aquariums and has exceptional customer service skills. We are looking to bring someone on board immediately. Must live local and be available for emergencies and occasional weekends. We are growing rapidly and therefore have plenty of room for growth, especially if you are looking for a long-term career type position. All employees will be subject to background check and fingerprinting.

We begin daily at the shop by 7:45 AM, before heading to the job site. Job sites are located throughout Manatee County and North Sarasota County. We typically finish no later than 6 PM Monday through Friday. Company vehicle provided as long as you meet requirements, and therefore must have a valid driver's license.

Basic Job Requirements:
Knowledge of aquariums required!
This includes:

• Freshwater, saltwater, and reef tanks.
• Need to have basic understanding of various filtration, water chemistry and biology, fish, coral and invertebrates.
• Must be self motivated, clean, friendly, able to work independently and as a team.
• Moderate lifting (up to 60 lbs. regularly) and the ability to work on ladders are necessary.

Daily responsibilities include the regular upkeep of clients' aquariums in homes, and businesses. We will train to use our equipment and methods in order to meet the expectations our customers.

Pay scale is based on experience and ability to learn the trade.
