Educational talk. Dr. Linda Stevenson, Adjunct Professor for the University of Florida’s Historic Preservation Program, will give a talk on what Historic Preservation is, how it benefits communities and the tourism industry, and how it can be put into practice here in Manatee County. This presentation will include a discussion on tax credits, and what Certified Local Governments (CLGs) are and the benefits of becoming one. A social hour with light refreshments will follow the talk. The Manatee Village grounds will close at 8:00pm.
