Description
by George Leith
VP of Sales at Vendasta
Marketing has changed more in the last five years than it had in the 50 before that. No longer can brands one-way broadcast their message on TV, radio or on newspaper pages and expect consumers to simply believe them. Businesses can tell a story—and they must—but consumers are now complicit; they are the other half. Managing the online reputation of a business—reviews, website, social media, listings—is not optional, it’s essential. The story a business tells must be consistent with what a consumer experiences and authentic to the brand. Inconsistencies cause negative reviews, lost customers and decreased revenue.
In this session that has been renowned by some of the largest media outlets in the US, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the United Kingdom, George will give businesses actionable takeaways to implement the minute they walk out the door. They’ll learn what people are saying about their business and where, how to build a relationship through social media, how to get found online and other essential factors that make or break a business in the democratic age of digital media. Business owners will be armed with the knowledge necessary to make their virtual doorway their main entrance.
Presented by the Manatee Chamber of Commerce and the Bradenton Herald.
