This position is the first contact therefore, highly visible, and cross-trained with a strong knowledge base and understanding of the campus protocols for the areas of: admissions, financial aid, registration, accessibility, and conduct. This position will also assist with campus operations, rentals, community/business inquires and other hosted events. This position is hired through our temporary agency Ad-Vance, with a pay rate of $17.00 per hour. This position will also be required to troubleshoot tier 1 questions from students in the following departmental areas: • Admissions: Responsible for ensuring responsiveness to inquiries, streamlined admissions processing, accurate residency classifications for tuition purposes and effective enrollment communication campaigns. • Educational Records: Assists students from the point of registration through graduation. The primary focus is to provide student support in all forms for records and registration policies and procedures. Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of student record data and that all documentation is complete and readily available for students. • Financial Aid: Serves as primary resource for financial aid information to potential students, current students, faculty, and staff. This position handles sensitive and confidential information and is the first contact for students and/or parents, as well as other internal and external customers. • Advising: This position serves as resource for advising information. This position will answer general inquiries regarding degree, requirements, and programs available. Campus Assistance: This position will help lead, guide, and direct campus guests, students, and families and provide trouble-shooting support as needed. The responsibility will be to provide a smooth transition to the appropriate department/person on or off campus. Applicants may be asked to demonstrate any or all the following duties: • Guides & assists potential students through the full admissions process to enrollment. • Guides & assists campus guests and visitors • Expands student access to admissions via use of chat sessions, recruitment events, and calling campaigns. Ensures service excellence and responsiveness by providing effective, timely communications to students regarding their admissions, residency, and orientation status. • Assists with scheduling appointments in admissions, advising, financial aid, and other departments. • Helps to provide support for lifelong learning, non-credit, and academic services at the campus. • Responds to inquirers in person, via email, phone, and text messaging. • Provides trouble shooting efforts to campus efforts & events.
