Graphic Artist State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota Salary: $15.80 - $23.20 Hourly Location: Bradenton, FL Department: Marketing Job Number: 5518446 Closing: 11/2/2026 11:59 PM Eastern Job Summary Designs and produces art and copy layouts for all client materials, SCF brands (FTIC, CTE, CCD), platforms (SCF.edu, MYSCF, mobile) and initiatives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Creates designs in appropriate formats. - Designs print and digital media, including advertisements, newsletters, posters, presentations, graphics, and logos. - Collaborates with stakeholders to develop concepts and creative plans. - Reviews and presents final layouts for approval. - Proofreads and edits all work. - Completes projects within deadlines and coordinates with external vendors. - Prepares final layouts for printing, checks proofs, and reviews final products. - Maintains image resource files and production logs. - Remains current in graphic design trends and technology. Job Qualifications Education/Experience: Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and two or more years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer Skills: Advanced knowledge of current graphics software, basic knowledge of word processing, Internet and web graphic software and peripheral equipment. No supervisory experience or certifications required. This position is eligible for veteran preference. Qualified applicants should complete the Veteran Preference section and attach a DD214.
