What You'll Do: • Interview patients and obtain vital signs i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight and height to record on patients’ medical chart. • Prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients. • Ensure the cleanliness and sterilization of office and medical equipment. • Assist Providers in gathering patient chief complaints, past medical history, allergy information, etc. • Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures and complying with accrediting guidelines and regulations. What Your Qualifications Should Be: • Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or relevant experience in a clinical setting. • Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Assistant. • CPR certification (or ability to obtain within three months of hire). • Proficiency in scribing and typing (40 wpm minimum). • Experience with EHR systems (NextGen preferred) and knowledge of basic surgical techniques.
