What You'll Do: • Performs radiographic procedures under a variety of conditions for patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric • Adjust, maintain, and sterilize the medical diagnostic imaging equipment, as well as the room in which the testing takes place. • Follow exact orders from physicians on which areas of the body to image and with what type of equipment. • Explain the procedure to patients prior to beginning, including answering questions and concerns to ensure their comfort. • Maintains required records including patient records, daily log books, and monthly reports. Performs quantity and quality control checks to assure X-ray unit meets standards required by laws, rules, and departmental policies. Complies with safety standards What Your Qualifications Should Be: • Completion of an ARRT accredited Radiology program • Registered Technologist currently licensed in the State of Florida • Must Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant program.
