Adjunct Faculty, Photography State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota Location: Bradenton Department: Art, Design, Humanities Closing: Continuous Description State College of Florida is accepting applications for Adjunct Faculty in Photography. Adjunct faculty are temporary, part-time instructors contracted as needed. Compensation is $2000 per 3 ILH. Essential Duties • Teach assigned courses • Maintain attendance and punctuality • Prepare syllabi and instructional materials if needed • Deliver course content effectively and support learning outcomes • Participate in assessment activities • Maintain accurate attendance and grading records • Coordinate substitute instruction during absences • Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment • Demonstrate professional growth and effective teaching practices • Support departmental collaboration and institutional goals Minimum Qualifications • Master’s degree in Photography • Demonstrated teaching skills and subject knowledge, preferably at the community college level • Effective use of instructional technology and office software • Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and the public Work Environment & Physical Requirements • Indoor classroom/office setting • May require standing or sitting for extended periods • Ability to travel across campus locations • May require personal protective equipment Additional Expectations Employees are expected to support the college mission, maintain professionalism, provide excellent service, participate in training, follow attendance standards, and contribute to continuous improvement.
