The Specialist, Recruitment position at State College of Florida (SCF) offers a salary range of $15. 80 to $23. 20 per hour and is applicable across all three campuses. Significant travel within the region is expected, including some evenings and weekends. Qualifications for this position include an associate's degree with two years of experience in sales, customer service, account management, or higher education recruitment; a bachelor’s degree is preferred. Candidates should have knowledge of the local area and collegiate recruitment practices. While supervisory experience is preferred, it is not required. Skills necessary for the role include the ability to interpret various documents, respond to inquiries, report detailed information, and communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Mathematical and reasoning skills are important, as well as proficiency in computer software related to recruitment and communication. No specific certificates or licenses are required. The Recruitment Specialist has routine internal contact with SCF students and faculty, and external contact with prospective and enrolled students, as well as education personnel. The work environment has moderate noise and requires various physical abilities such as talking, sitting, using hands, walking, and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds.
