The individual is expected to exercise professionalism and civility in all activities related to the role of academician, including those concerned with the various duties assigned, and any involvement with colleagues, peers, community and students. (Demonstrates professional growth and development by updating knowledge of subject matter and using effective and innovative teaching techniques.) • Develops, maintains and promotes a positive, respectful and civil atmosphere among colleagues and members of the college-wide community to advance the mission of the college. • Performs all other duties as assigned by the proper authority. Job Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Education/Experience: Master's degree in Biological Science discipline with at least 18 graduate hours in biological science. • Other Skills and Abilities: Must demonstrate effective use of instructional technology and be familiar with current office hardware and software.
